INCI: isopropyl laurate
Lexol IPL is an emollient with solvent and coupling characteristics similar to isopropyl myristate and isopropyl palmitate; however, it exhibits a drier skin feel during application and less oily after-feel. Lexol IPL is an excellent lubricant and application aid with low viscosity and outstanding hydrolytic stability. It is used in skin care creams and lotions where it lends emolliency and lubricity. Due to its dry skin feeling hydrolytic stability, Lexol IPL is an excellent lubricant for anti-perspirant systems.
