Processing Procedure
- Heat item 1 to 70 – 75 °C, add item 2 – 3 with medium speed mixing until solubilized.
- Add premix item 4 – 5 into the Main Batch while maintaining the temperature at 70 – 75°C.
- Maintain the temperate at 70 – 75°C, add item 6 – 7 into the batch and mix until the wax is melted.
- Remove from heating and add item 8 into the batch with medium mixing and then let it cool to room temperature.
- Adjust the pH with item 13 to 4.75 – 5.00.
- Add premix item 9 – 11 into the batch with medium mixing.
- Add item 12 into the batch with continue mixing and add item 14 to adjust the viscosity when it is
necessary.
Physical Properties
pH @ 25ºC = 4.5 - 5.5
Viscosity @ 25ºC (Brookfield RVT; Spindle T-C @ 20 rpm) = 3,000 – 10,000 cP
Stability
45 ºC (12 weeks), 50 ºC (8 weeks), F/T (3 cycles)
