The expansion will replace the company’s current US operations

PHILADELPHIA PA, November 27, 2018 Inolex, a global leader in sustainable and innovative beauty care ingredient solutions announced today a major expansion of its US manufacturing capabilities.

The expansion, which is set for completion by the second half of 2019, will replace the company’s current US production and warehouse operations with a new flagship plant in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“This is a significant investment to support the growth of our global platform. The flagship plant allows us to optimize our manufacturing processes and increase our production capacity so that we can continue to serve our customers and meet the growing global demand for our innovative technologies,” said David Plimpton, Inolex CEO. “The new Inolex facility also provides the opportunity for us to better align with our sustainability goals and those of our partners.”

The development marks a key milestone for Inolex to strategically focus its expertise in Personal Care. In addition to fulfilling immediate manufacturing and warehouse operations, the 150,000-square foot site offers the opportunity for future expansion of capacity and scope.

“Responsible manufacturing is a cornerstone of Inolex’s Operational Excellence. The Charlotte plant enables us to enhance production and strengthen business continuity. It’s a hub to explore new manufacturing processes for our innovation pipeline, and will serve as a gateway for broader industry collaboration” said Ted Laarkamp, VP Operations.

Inolex has implemented growth initiatives across the organization in recent years including opening offices in China, Brazil and France, and adding key industry talent including Kevin Gallagher as a Non-Executive Board Member; Arthur Knox as VP, Head of Global Sales; Michael J. Fevola, PhD as VP, Head of R&D; and most recently, Lisa Gandolfi, PhD as Director of Marketing.

The build-out of operations in Charlotte is a strong indication of the company’s continued momentum in the Beauty Care industry.
