For the second time, Inolex has been recognized by Henkel Beauty Care with an award for our sustainable and innovative technologies.
Inolex received the Henkel Best Innovation Contributor Award 2021 - 2nd Place for our LexFeel® WOW 100% Plant-Based Cyclomethicone Replacement technology. The award was presented by Agnes Thee, CVP Hair Europe & Global Masterbrands Beauty Care Henkel during a virtual award ceremony.
LexFeel® WOW is non-silicone, plant-based sustainable emollient with sensory and functional performance equivalent to that of cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It is derived from 100% USDA certified biobased feedstocks, is NSF approved, and biodegradable. The ingredient has a range of applications, especially high performing in hair care applications.
In 2019, Inolex was presented with the Sustainability Award from Henkel Beauty Care during the Henkel Awards Reception at the 2020 American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Annual Meeting and Industry Convention in Orlando, Florida. The award was given for LexFeel® D5, a sustainable, high-performance silicone alternative ingredient.
