The Hair Mask

This creamy solid hair mask uses the amino-acid based amino lipid,AminoSensyl™ HCto deeply nourish the hair and LexFeel® N350 MB to provide color protection.
The solid format has a fun DIY consumer experience – melt this waterless formulation in hot water for the next generation of the “hot oil treatment”.

Processing Procedure
1. Disperse Item 9 in Item 2.
2. Combine Items 1 – 8 and heat to 80 °C with slow to medium speed propeller mixing.
3. At 80 °C, add Items 2 and 9.
4. Pour into pre-greased fish-shaped silicone mold and quickly insert popsicle stick, then freeze until solid.
5. Remove from freezer and allow to come to room temperature before removing from mold.
To use: In a heatproof container, pour 2 oz to 3 oz of boiling water and gently stir the solid hair mask until a creamy, emulsion forms (<40 °C). Apply to wet, clean hair and leave for 20 min before rinsing thoroughly.
