Science Behind
LexFilm™ Spray contains a specialized flexible polymer combined with an aromatic ester emollient.
The polymer component is a high molecular weight, acid-functional polyester. The acid functionality provides high adhesion to skin. The polyester backbone provides solubility in water-alcohol systems and compatibility with emollients and organic UV filters.
The highly polar aromatic ester component provides organic UV filter solubilization to prevent recrystallization of the UV filters on skin. It also provides stability in hydroalcoholic formulations.
